Thanks for sending in your from Lesson 9!!!
Today is our Final Science Lesson for the year!!!
Lesson 10 - Read the attached text called the Power of Fluids - watch the two attached videos and answer the 3 questions at the bottom of the text.
Next - Fluids Review - Attached is the chapter review questions on Fluids. There are four sections to the questions: the first is called What do you Remember? Answer all 15 of these questions; the second section is called What do you Understand? Answer only any 5 of these 15 questions that you are most interested in; the third section is called Create and Evaluate - none of these are assigned; the fourth section is called Reflect on your learning - none of these questions are assigned.

How did your Cartesian diver work?? Send a picture. Also please forward your answers to the reading in Lesson 7 Density and Buoyancy in Action.
Lesson 8 has 2 parts and 2 readings. Putting the Squeeze on Fluids and the Effects of External Pressure. Lots of fun equipment in the classroom to explore these ideas, unfortunately, we'll have to manage with only the reading. Each one has a set of 4 questions for you to answer. Please submit by Thursday June 4.

I'm looking forward to seeing your work on Lesson 6 Buoyancy - Please submit today.
We will continue our investigation of Buoyancy and how it relates to density in Lesson 7 Density and Buoyancy in Action. Please complete the reading and answer the 4 questions at the end. Also I have included a great video on creating a Cartesian diver. Don't worry about all the materials Michael presents at the beginning - none of them are needed. Try to make your own Cartesian Diver using the instructions in the text. Send me a picture if you got it to work!

Please hand in your Science homework from last week 7.1 Fluids Everywhere
New for this week 7.2 Characteristics of Fluids Questions #1 to 6 at the bottom of the reading. Also if you have some corn starch, do the try this Exploring Goobleck! experiment - don't worry about using a graduated cylinder - use 3 parts cornstarch for 2 parts water - so if you have a measuring spoon, use 2 of water and 3 of corn starch.
